Going to have to differ with you on the Ridgid warranty. I had a loose chuck on a drill...found my
local repair place (I live in a suburb of Chicago)... dropped it off...new chuck in a week.
I also shudder at the folks who claim it is difficult to actually sign up on the Ridgid site for the lifetime warranty.
