Second strong week of tool deals, starting off really well with a hot deal on the Ridgid 15" Floor standing drill press!
I don't know about the power tools but the Stanley Black and Decker line of Craftsman hand tools are Chinese junk and are no better than any other house brand tools. The original Craftsman hand tools were American made quality. The wrenches in the Stanley Black and Decker Craftsman tool set I recently purchased from Lowe's, look like and are the of same quality as the tool sets that were included with Japanese motorcycles of the 1970s. They might help if you’re stuck on the side of the road but don’t bet your life on them.
Question. . . . What is your opinion of the Craftsman line at Lowes. I have an air compressor, a really great small shop that sucks the dust out of my Metabo 10" miter saw. Just recently, I have been doing a lot of remodeling (all new door casings, engineered wood flooring etc, and I use the Craftsman Oscillating tool. Just like the DeWalt but lighter and brushless. Are you going to do a show on Craftsman tools, over-all?
